Titans Mock Offseason: Predicting every Major Move!

Beau Brune/Tennessee Titans

Written by Dharya Sharma

The Tennessee Titans are entering a pivotal 2026 offseason, as the team recently introduced its new coaching staff, led by Robert Saleh, and has a ton of resources to work with to bolster a roster that won three games in 2025.

That said, let’s run through my mock offseason for the Titans. I will try to predict every major move Tennessee will make.

Cap Casualties

Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed: Save $15.5 million by designating as post June 1 cut

Running back Tony Pollard: Save $7.2 Million by cutting

The Titans will likely make more than just two cuts, but these are the two major players I believe will be let go.

Cutting Sneed is a no-brainer. Through his first two seasons with Tennessee, he’s struggled to stay healthy, but even when on the field, Sneed hasn’t been as good as the Titans thought he would be after trading for him from the Kansas City Chiefs and giving him a $76 million contract over four seasons.

Sneed doesn’t have a long-term future in Nashville, and saving $15.5 million by moving on from the two-time Super Bowl champion is a move that should happen in the coming weeks.

Releasing Pollard is a bit more of a difficult decision, as the Memphis product tallied a career high in rushing yards (1,082) in 2025 and can still be a productive player.

However, Pollard is getting older, and the Titans can easily find an upgrade over him for cheaper.

I’m not as sold on Pollard getting cut as I am with Sneed, but in the end, I believe general manager Mike Borgonzi will opt to rebuild the rushing attack this offseason.

Free Agency Predictions

-WR Jauan Jennings (3 Years, $52 Million)

-EDGE Odafe Oweh (4 Years, $75 Million)

-CB Jaylen Watson (3 Years, $42 Million)

-OL Greg Van Roten (2 Years, $12 Million)

-DL John Franklin-Myers (2 Years, $20 Million)

-QB Tyrod Taylor (1 Year, $4 Million)

The Titans are going to sign more than five players in free agency, as the franchise is slated to have the most cap space in the NFL at $103 million, and will likely have more after cuts. But these are the major signings I believe we’re going to see.

First, the most polarizing signing of them all: Jauan Jennings. The Tennessee product had a career-high nine touchdowns in 2025, and is still an ascending player who will step in as one of the top targets for quarterback Cam Ward.

Odafe Oweh is coming off two straight productive seasons and will earn himself a payday. The Titans need pass rushers desperately, and though Oweh isn’t a bona fide star, he’s still young at 27 and would give Tennessee more juice in the pass rush.

To replace Sneed, let’s go out and sign one of his former teammates. Watson is coming off a career year in 2025, allowing just a 69 passer rating when targeted and playing nearly 900 snaps on Kansas City’s defense. The 27-year-old would immediately step in as the Titans’ top corner, and once again, the Borgonzi connection is strong here.

Kevin Zeitler is a free agent, and I don’t see him back as Tennessee’s starting right guard. Let’s replace him with Greg Van Roten, who played under Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll for a season and a half with the New York Giants and has started all 17 games in three consecutive years.

John Franklin-Myers has already hinted at his interest in coming to the Titans, and with his connection to Saleh dating back to their days with the New York Jets, this is a signing that would make perfect sense. Myers had a career-high 7.5 sacks with the Denver Broncos in 2025.

Tyrod Taylor already has a nice working relationship with Daboll, as the two spent time together in New York. So bringing him in a cheap deal to be a backup and mentor to Ward would be an incredibly savvy move.

Along with the free agency signings, the Titans should also look to re-sign some of their own guys, including edge rusher Jihad Ward, defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day, center Corey Levin, wide receiver Bryce Oliver, and some others. I don’t think tight end Chig Okonkwo will be back.

TRADE PREDICTION: Will Levis to Arizona Cardinals

It’s finally time to end the Will Levis’ experiment. Levis has needed a fresh start for a while, so we’re finally going to give it to him it.

Arizona is expected to be in the quarterback market this offseason as they prepare to move on from Kyler Murray. Sending a late-round pick to Tennessee and taking a flyer on Levis is a move they could make as they continue their rebuild.

3-Round Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 4: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

Let’s get spicy!!!! After moving on from Pollard, the Titans select arguably the best player in the draft at No. 4 in Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love. The 6-foot playmaker tallied 21 total touchdowns in 2025 and over 1,700 scrimmage yards, including 1,372 yards on the ground.

Love would immediately step in as the best player on Tennessee’s offense and take the Titans’ running game to new heights. Taking a running back in the top-five isn’t usually considered great value, but Love is a potential All-Pro talent who would be hard to pass on.

Round 2, Pick 35: WR Elijah Sarratt, Indiana

Sarratt was one of the top receivers in country in 2025, posting 830 yards and 15 touchdowns. The 6-foot-2 receiver scored 44 touchdowns during his collegiate career, establishing himself as a dynamic red-zone threat.

A wide receiver room of Ridley, Jennings, and Sarratt would give Cam Ward a chance to succeed in 2026.

Round 3, Pick 66: CB Daylen Everette, Georgia

Even if the Titans listen to me and sign Watson, cornerback would still be a need. Everette would fill that need, as the 6-foot-1 defensive back is a stout run defender who is also a high-level cover corner. He would be the perfect No. 2 corner opposite Watson and fix many of the issues the Titans had in the secondary in 2025.

Extend Jeffery Simmons: 3-Years, $100 million

Big Jeff should be a Titan for life, so our final move in this mock offseason is making him the highest-paid defensive tackle in football with a contract worth over $33 million per year.

Simmons had a first-team All-Pro season in 2025 with 11 sacks and 17 tackles for loss. He’s the best player at his position in the entire sport, and he’s earned a historic payday from the franchise that drafted him in Round 1 of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Let me know your thoughts on this mock offseason for the Titans. I believe the moves I made will lead to a promising debut campaign for Saleh in Tennessee and would give the Titans a chance to return to the playoffs.
