The Tennessee Titans will hit the field for training camp in just a few weeks, so let’s go over another 53-man roster projection for the Titans!

Quarterback (3): Cam Ward, Will Levis, Brandon Allen

Ward will be the starter, and all eyes will be on him. Though Levis could get traded, I don’t think the market is there. Brandon Allen squeaks in due to his experience with Brian Callahan with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Running Back (3): Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Kaleel Mullings

Pollard will reprise his role as the starter, while Spears enters a pivotal Year 3. Mullings, the sixth-round pick out of Michigan, beats out Julius Chestnut for the final spot at running back.

Wide Receiver (7): Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Elic Ayomanor, Van Jefferson, Chimere Dike, Bryce Oliver, Xavier Restrepo

The wide receiver competition will be one of the biggest storylines of camp. I have Tennessee keeping seven receivers, with Restrepo making it as an undrafted free agent. Treylon Burks, Jha’Quan Jackson, James Proche II, Colton Dowell, and Mason Kinsey are the names I don’t think will make the cut.

Joe Howell

Tight End (4): Chig Okonkwo, Gunnar Helm, David Martin-Robinson, Thomas Odukoya

I have to shoutout Easton Freeze, who wrote an article recently on why Josh Whyle has an uphill battle to make the roster. Though Whyle seemed like a roster lock a few months ago, the selection of Gunnar Helm in the draft casted a lot of uncertainty on his future.

I have the Titans keeping Martin-Robinson and Odukoya over Helm, as DMR impressed in the preseason last year and should do more of the same this year. Odukoya can be a valueable piece on special teams, which gives him the nod over Whyle for the final spot.

Offensive Line (9): Dan Moore Jr., Peter Skoronski, Lloyd Cushenberry, Kevin Zeitler, JC Latham, George Fant (PREDICTED SIGNING), Cody Whitehair (PREDICTED SIGNING), Jackson Slater, Corey Levin

The starting lineup is self-explanatory. However, Tennessee needs to bolster the depth on the offensive line, so I have them signing veteran offensive tackle George Fant and guard Cody Whitehair before the season. Rookie Jackson Slater and Corey Levin also make the roster as depth pieces.

Defensive Line (4): Jeffery Simmons, T’Vondre Sweat, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Keondre Coburn

This is one of, if not, the easiest position groups to predict. Simmons and Sweat reprise their roles as the starters, with Joseph-Day and Coburn playing rotational roles.

Edge Rusher (5): Oluwafemi Oladejo, Arden Key, Dre'Mont Jones, Jaylen Harrell, Lorenzo Carter

Though there are still some lingering questions about the edge rusher room, the group could be sneaky good in 2025. Oladejo has a ton of promise, Key should be solid once again, the addition of Jones and his versatility should be valuable, and Harrell and Carter will be decent depth pieces.

Linebacker (5): Cody Barton, Otis Reese IV, James Williams, Cedric Gray, Curtis Jacobs

Barton already has a starting spot locked upon. However, it appears that we are headed towards a competition for the other starting spot in camp between Reese, Williams, and Gray. I also have the team keeping Jacobs, who was an undrafted rookie in 2024 with the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots.

Cornerback (6): L’Jarius Sneed, Jarvis Brownlee Jr., Roger McCreary, Darrell Baker Jr., Marcus Harris, Gabe Jeudy-Lally

Sneed and Brownlee will serve as the starters on the boundary, with McCreary serving as the nickel. Baker, rookie Marcus Harris, and Jeudy-Lally will special teams and depth roles.

Safety (4): Amani Hooker, Xavier Woods, Kevin Winston Jr., Mike Brown

Hooker and Woods will be the starters to begin the year, but don’t rule out the possibility of Winston becoming a starter sooner than later. Brown returns to the roster for depth.
