Reviewing the Titans roster moves for Week 16!

In the Tennessee Titans' Week 15 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the team suffered a number of key injuries at the safety position, with veterans Mike Brown and Xavier Woods, as well as rookie Kevin Winston Jr., all leaving the game with injuries that would later put them on season-ending injured reserve.

This left Amani Hooker and Kendell Brooks as the team’s lone two safeties, so general manager Mike Borgonzi set his sights on practice squads and the waiver wire.

Erick Hallett went to Pittsburgh, where he made second team All-ACC in his senior year, as well as being a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe award, which is awarded to the best defensive back nationally. Through his college career, Hallett grabbed five interceptions and four forced fumbles, as well as making a number of plays where he broke up passes and made tackles for loss. In the 2023 draft, he was drafted in the sixth round by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he would eventually be waived and spend a couple of years with the Detroit Lions. Earlier in the 2025 campaign, Hallett was given the opportunity to start due to inactivity from Brian Branch and Kirby Joseph, and posted a team-high eight total tackles. Hallett is a little undersized, posting a height of 5-foot-9 and a weight of about 191 pounds.

Sanoussi Kane went to Purdue for his college career, where he posted several pass breakups, tackles for loss, and even a few sacks. He was an honorable mention in the All-Big 10 awards and was drafted in the seventh round in 2024 by the Baltimore Ravens. We are yet to see his play on an NFL football field, as he has spent the entirety of his career on the practice squad, but he measures at 5-foot-11 and a weight of 207 pounds.

Garrett Dellinger played college football at LSU, where he would post 31 career starts at the guard position and would be a part of the 2023 Joe Moore Award Finalist offensive line. In the 2025 draft, the Baltimore Ravens would draft Dellinger in the seventh round, but he would not make the team. After being waived, he signed with the Cleveland Browns' practice squad and would make his debut only a few days later. While he may not see much playing time with the Titans, if Kevin Zeitler or Peter Skoronski have to come out of the game, Dellinger could be a decent plug-and-play guard.
